Drainage work continues along the Route 2 westbound shoulder and also on Riverside Drive across from Goodwin University. Preparations for the work on the Maple Street exit on-ramp and shoulder will also occur. Tree clearing and grubbing continues near the Sutton Avenue eastbound off-ramp. Temporary illumination and permanent light pole foundations will be installed along Route 2 westbound from the Maple Street exit. Incident Management System (IMS) installation continues from the Maple Street westbound on-ramp onto Route 2 westbound.

Excavation and paving will occur on the Route 2 westbound shoulder from the Maple Street westbound on-ramp onto Route 2 westbound. Underground conduit installation continues across on-ramps in various locations throughout the project limits.
Traffic Impacts
The Maple Street On-ramp (Ramp 5C) is scheduled to reopen this week (weather permitting). No major traffic impacts are expected. Travel lanes beginning at Maple Street are temporary reduced from 12ft to 11ft while shoulder work is underway.
