Metal beam rail installation will continue on Route 2 from the Exit 5A westbound (WB) on-ramp to the Exit 5 WB on-ramp on Route 2. Tree clearing/grubbing and topsoil formation continues in various locations.

Electrical conduit installation will continue across various on-ramps on WB Route 2. Excavation continues westward on Route 2 behind the relocated barrier on the WB right shoulder. Asphalt curb installation will occur from the Exit 5A WB on-ramp to the Exit 5 WB on-ramp.
Traffic Impacts
Expect partial lane closures or lane reductions near conduit crossings, excavation operations, and curb installation this week. Travel lanes beginning at Maple Street are temporary reduced from 12ft to 11ft while shoulder work is underway.
