Daytime Hours: 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday-Friday*

Retaining wall construction continues along the right shoulder on eastbound Route 2 just prior to Sutton Avenue. Ensign Street bridge deck form work begings. Lead paint removal underneath the Sutton Avenue and Main Street bridges will continue. Additional activities involving the bridges will begin.

The retaining wall construction at Willow Street is ongoing. Expect activities on or near the roadway. Deck demolition and concrete form work for bridge elements is on going. Installation of the temporary bridge over Willow Street will continue. Activities at the the site will be close to the road, so traffic is advised to use caution.

Work on a new drainage outfall near the Trinity Boat House will be performed.

Nighttime Hours: 6:00pm–6:00am, Sunday-Thursday* Note the earlier starting time

Work along Route 3 for electrical work continues. Expect right shoulder closures.

Concrete barrier installation along Rte. 2 in the vicinity of Willow Street is expected. Expect heavy equipment on the roadway to perform relocation of temporary concrete barriers.

Excavation in the median is being perfomred.of the new median barrier is ongoing.

Traffic Impacts

Expect lane closures during overnight electrical work.

Lane closures, and possibly alternating one-way traffic, may also occur in the vicinity of bridge work this week.

06/16/21 Traffic is scheduled to be shifted to a new pattern during the overnight hours. Updated due to anticipated rain the Traffic Shift on Route 2 to a new pattern has been changed to Friday Night 6/17/2022. Please use cation in the area.
