Construction of the EB Sutton Avenue Bridge. Concrete placement for new bridge deck was performed on 7/20/23. Construction of bridge parapet walls scheduled for next week.

Milled between Maple Street and Sutton Avenue for concrete pavement repair.
Paved EB on July 17th and 18th from the Hockanum River Bridge just to the west of the Willow Street Bridge.
Concrete pavement repairs between Maple Street and Sutton Avenue both EB and WB.
Quaker on site to drill sign foundations for overhead sign sign structures.
Sutton Avenue Daytime Detour – Daytime closures of Sutton Avenue at the Rte. 2 bridge will be implemented when necessary for safety reasons during bridge construction. Sutton Avenue will opened for traffic at the end of every workday. Daytime closures should be finished within the next few weeks.
