The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a lane shift of Route 2 EB prior to the Exit 5 off-ramp (Willow Street) beginning on June 16, 2022.  The temporary lane shift of Route 2 EB prior to Exit 5 off-ramp (Willow Street) is necessary as part of the safety and operational improvements on Route 2 in East Hartford, Hartford, and Glastonbury. The lane shift is being implemented to facilitate the reconstruction of the Willow Street Bridge.
