The installation of light pole foundations, curb, and metal beam rail is underway on Route 2 from the Exit 5A westbound (WB) on-ramp to the Exit 5 WB on-ramp on Route 2. Tree clearing/grubbing and topsoil formation continues in various locations.

Electrical conduit installation continues across various on-ramps on WB Route 2. Drainage installation continues across WB Route 2 near Goodwin University. The barrier on the WB right shoulder will be relocated westward to support roadway excavation that is scheduled to occur next week. Bituminous curb will be installed from the Exit 5A WB onramp to the Exit 5 WB onramp.
Traffic Impacts
Expect partial lane closures or lane reductions near drainage and curb installation operations this week. Travel lanes beginning at Maple Street are temporary reduced from 12ft to 11ft while shoulder work is underway.
