The following operations are underway on westbound (WB) Route 2 between the Ensign Street overpass, moving west toward the Exit 5 WB onramp: light pole foundation installation, metal beam rail installation, and paving on Main Street near the Exit 5A WB onramp (under Route 2).

Asphalt curb installation continues west on WB Route 2 between the Ensign Street overpass toward the Exit 5 WB onramp. Shoulder widening, line striping, and relocation of the barrier on the eastbound (EB) shoulder is scheduled.
Traffic Impacts
Expect partial lane closures, lane reductions, or detours during paving operations this week. Partial lane closures and lane reductions may occur during curb installation. Travel lanes beginning at Maple Street are temporary reduced from 12ft to 11ft while shoulder work is underway.
