Grading and preparation for paving will occur on east bound (EB) Route 2. Construction of drainage swales is scheduled on the westbound (WB) side of Route 2, across the street from Two Rivers Magnet School. The drainage outfall at Goodwin University is also under construction this week.

Asphalt excavation and drainage work is scheduled to start on EB Route 2, beginning near Willow Street. The barrier on the EB shoulder will move eastward along with construction operations.
Traffic Impacts
Expect partial lane closures or lane reductions near excavation, drainage, and paving operations. Travel lanes beginning at Maple Street are temporary reduced from 12ft to 11ft while shoulder work is underway.
